We’re Marshall and Elliott, two brothers who get along well with each other but not with gluten. We spent a lot of time searching for a high-protein bar that tasted awesome AND was good for you… but we never found it. So we decided to create it ourselves, and in 2010 The GFB was born. Along with the help of our other partners, Ben and Jeremy, The GFB has become a robust, quickly growing brand carried in over 9,000 locations across the United States, Canada, and now even in Europe.

We own and operate our own sustainable, certified gluten-free facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This means we’re able to pay closer attention to quality than an outsourced manufacturing process allows, which includes our commitment to small-batch production and meticulous care for everything with our name on it.

We make healthy snacks much like you would in your own kitchen, only in slightly larger quantities (and a little more frequently). It all starts with a scale and a mixer for our ingredients. Then several dedicated employees watch carefully to ensure that each recipe comes out just right. The results speak for themselves: the tastiest healthy snacks on the market today.
